Published ratings and characteristics promoted where clearly stated. RFT HT322 indirectly heated, air-cooled metal-ceramic microwave power triode intended primarily for oscillators up to about 2.75 GHz. Typical static characteristics at plate 400 V and 15 mA: gm 10 mA/V and amplification factor 90. Continuous operating maximum plate voltage 1000 V, plate dissipation 80 W, grid dissipation 2 W and cathode current 125 mA. The 2000 V anode limit is pulse-only (5 microseconds). For continuous-wave service, reduce heater from nominal 12.6 V to 12.1 V at 400–1000 MHz, 11.5 V at 1–2 GHz, and 10.8 V above 2 GHz. Forced-air cooling 60 L/min specified under rated conditions.
