Description

7046 MULTIPLIER PHOTOTUBE 4-7/16" Dia. Curved |4-Stage, Head-On, Flat-Faceplate Type I1-1/8" Max. Length Circular Semitrans- Extended S-Ii Response 5-1 /4" Max. Diameter parent Photocathode Very-Short Time-Resolution Capability Thirtyfivar 21-Pin Base TENTATIVE DATA RCA-7046 is a head-on type of multiplier sensitivity to blue-rich light and negligible phototube intended for use in scintilfation sensitivity to red radiation. Because of its counters for the detection and measurement of spectral response, the 7046 is well suited for nuclear radiation, and applications involving use with organic phosphors such as anthracene as the measurement of low-level light sources. Its well aswith inorganic materials such as thallium— activated sodium iodide. Design features of the 7046 include a semi- transparent cathode on the curved inner surface of the face end of the bulb; a minimum cathode diameter of 4-7/16 inches; a faceplate of ultra-— violet transmitting glass with a flat external surface to
