Ericsson 6EV5/CATV long-life sharp-cutoff RF tetrode, special 7-pin small-button E7-1 variant developed for cable television amplifier service. Manufacturer describes shielded cold grid-to-plate, input and output capacitances, with external shield tied to cathode. Basing: pin 1 grid-1; pins 2 and 7 cathode/internal shield; pins 3 and 4 heater; pin 5 plate; pin 6 screen grid-2. Published typical operation and lifetime acceptance tables contain OCR-alignment problems, so numerical heater, maximum voltage/dissipation and gm/rp fields deliberately left unset rather than inferred. Manufacturer 125 V anode operating test condition exists but is not a confirmed absolute maximum.
