Sylvania 6888 dual-control computer pentode for pulse amplifiers, core drivers and coincidence logic. Indirect heater 6.3 V 0.8 A, eight-pin octal 8N basing. Absolute DC maximum plate voltage 250 V, DC cathode current 80 mA, plate dissipation 8 W, grid-2 screen dissipation 2 W, grid-3 dissipation 2 W. DISTINCT pulse-only limits: plate PEAK positive 500 V and peak cathode current 600 mA, subject to specified pulse duration and duty factor; never substitute for DC limits. Published screen positive DC max 150 V; grid-3 has own positive/negative bias and pulse limits. Unshielded direct capacitances: grid-1 to plate 0.70 pF, grid-3 to plate 3.8 pF, grid-1 input 12 pF, grid-3 input 6.0 pF, output 6.5 pF, grid-1 to grid-3 0.65 pF. No single intrinsic gm value promoted from non-equivalent grid/pulse modes.
