Description

Glass octal type used in power supplies of radio and television equipment having moderate dc requirements. Outlines section, 13E; requires octal socket. Vertical mounting is preferred, but horizontal mounting is per- missible if pins 2 and 8 are in horizontal plane. It is especially important that this tube, like other power- handling tubes, be adequately ventilated. For discussion 1 of Rating Chart and Operating Characteristics, refer to Iaterpretation of Tube Data.
