Tung-Sol 3E6 directly heated 8-pin lock-in high-gm sharp-cutoff RF pentode with two-section series/parallel filament. SERIES: filament 2.8 V 50 mA, typical plate/screen 90 V, plate current 2.9 mA, screen current 1.2 mA, gm 1700 µmhos (0.0017 S), approximate plate resistance 325 kΩ. PARALLEL: filament 1.4 V 100 mA, same typical 90 V plate/screen, gm 2000 µmhos (0.002 S), rp 250 kΩ. Manufacturer maximum plate and screen 110 V. Maximum cathode current 12 mA in series operation, or 6 mA per 1.4 V filament section in parallel mode. Manufacturer specifies external shunting resistor across filament sections for series service. Existing B7G socket code is inconsistent with manufacturer's eight-pin lock-in base; held pending canonical base-code reconciliation.
