Section 1
Ediswan/Mazda 10F18 indirectly heated variable-mu (remote-cutoff) HF pentode designed for AC/DC AM/FM receivers with a 13 V, 100 mA series heater. Published maximum plate 250 V, screen 250 V, plate dissipation 2.25 W, screen dissipation 0.5 W. Typical gm 4.4 mA/V at the listed 175 V anode and approximately 12 mA plate current; later Mazda revision (1961) lists anode impedance 400 kΩ, while earlier 1958 documentation gives 220 kΩ. The later value is promoted, and the source discrepancy recorded. Interelectrode capacitance and RF gain-control characteristics documented.
